Creating & Managing Alerts

Set up automated alert rules to catch problems before they cost you revenue.

Dashified Alerts watch your store metrics 24/7 and notify you the moment something falls outside your defined thresholds — so you catch problems before they compound.

Alert Rule Basics

Every alert rule has four components:

  1. Metric — What you’re watching (e.g., Daily Revenue, ROAS, Inventory Level)
  2. Condition — The threshold that triggers the alert (e.g., drops below $1,000)
  3. Evaluation Window — How frequently Dashified checks the condition (every 30 min, 1 hr, or daily)
  4. Notification Channel — Where to send the alert (in-app, email, or Slack)

Creating an Alert

  1. Go to Alerts in the sidebar, then click Create Rule.
  2. Choose a Metric from the dropdown. Metrics are grouped by category (Revenue, Ads, Inventory, Email).
  3. Set a Condition: choose greater than, less than, or percentage change, then enter a threshold value.
  4. Set the Evaluation Window. For revenue, use “daily”. For ad ROAS, use “1 hour” so you catch spend issues quickly.
  5. Add your Notification Channels. Slack requires connecting a webhook in Settings → Notifications first.
  6. Click Save Rule. The rule is active immediately.

Alert Severity Levels

  • Critical — Immediate action required. Used for things like revenue dropping to zero or an ad platform integration going offline.
  • Warning — Attention needed within 24 hours. Used for metrics trending in the wrong direction.
  • Info — Informational. Positive milestones like “Revenue exceeded $10,000 today.”

Alert History

Every triggered alert is logged in Alerts → History. You can see when it fired, the metric value at the time, and whether it was acknowledged. Alerts auto-resolve when the metric returns within threshold.

Slack Notifications

To receive alerts in Slack, go to Settings → Notifications → Slack and paste your Slack Incoming Webhook URL. Alerts are posted as richly formatted Block Kit messages with a direct link back to the relevant dashboard section.

Plan limits

Starter plans support up to 5 alert rules. Growth supports 20. Pro and Agency have unlimited alert rules. Rule count is per workspace.
