Connecting Meta Ads

Pull Facebook and Instagram campaign performance into Dashified.

Connecting Meta Ads gives you Facebook and Instagram campaign ROAS, spend, and conversion data alongside your store revenue — all in one place.

Prerequisites

  • A Meta Business Manager account
  • Admin access to at least one Ad Account in Business Manager
  • At least one active or past campaign with spend data

Steps

  1. In Dashified, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect next to Meta Ads.
  2. You’ll be redirected to Facebook Login. Log in with the account that has access to your Business Manager.
  3. Grant Dashified read access to your Ad Accounts and Business. We only request the ads_read and business_management scopes.
  4. Select which Ad Accounts to sync and click Confirm.
  5. Dashified will begin pulling the last 90 days of campaign data.

Data We Sync

  • Campaigns — Name, status, objective, daily/lifetime budget
  • Ad Sets — Audience targeting, schedule, bid strategy
  • Ads — Creative type, spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC
  • Conversions — Purchase events, ROAS, cost per purchase (requires Meta Pixel)

Pixel required for ROAS

Purchase conversion data and ROAS calculations require a Meta Pixel installed on your store with Purchase events firing correctly. Without this, Dashified will show spend and click data but not revenue attribution.

Attribution Window

Dashified uses Meta’s default 7-day click, 1-day view attribution window. You can change this in Settings → Integrations → Meta Ads → Attribution Settings.

Sync Frequency

Ad performance data syncs every 3 hours. Spend data for the current day is estimated and may differ slightly from Meta Ads Manager due to delayed reporting.

Troubleshooting

  • No ad accounts showing — Ensure you logged in with the correct Facebook account and that account has Admin access in Business Manager.
  • ROAS showing as zero — Verify your Meta Pixel is installed and Purchase events are firing (check with Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome extension).
  • Permission error — Disconnect and reconnect, making sure to grant both ads_read and business_management permissions in the OAuth prompt.
