Connecting Shopify
Step-by-step guide to linking your Shopify store to Dashified.
Connecting Shopify takes about 2 minutes and uses Shopify’s official OAuth flow. Dashified requests read-only access to your orders, products, and inventory.
Prerequisites
- A Shopify store (any plan, including Basic)
- Owner or Staff admin access to your Shopify store
- A Dashified account (free trial is fine)
Steps
- In Dashified, go to Settings → Integrations.
- Click Connect next to Shopify.
- Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g.,
my-store.myshopify.com) and click Authorize. - Shopify will ask you to approve read-only access to: Orders, Products, Inventory Levels, Customers, and Fulfillments. Click Install app.
- You’ll be redirected back to Dashified. The integration status will show Syncing while we fetch your data.
- The initial sync takes 1–5 minutes depending on order volume. You’ll see a confirmation in the Integrations panel when it completes.
Data We Sync
- Orders — Revenue, refunds, discounts, shipping, tax, fulfillment status
- Products — Title, SKU, price, vendor, inventory levels
- Customers — Email, order history, lifetime value
- Inventory — Available, on-hand, reserved quantities by location
Sync Frequency
After the initial sync, Dashified re-syncs your Shopify data every 15 minutesfor orders and once per hour for products and inventory.
Troubleshooting
- Authorization failed — Ensure you have Staff Admin or Owner permissions in Shopify. Limited Staff accounts cannot authorize apps.
- Sync stuck on “Syncing” — Wait 10 minutes and refresh. If it persists, disconnect and reconnect the integration.
- Missing orders — Dashified syncs the last 90 days on initial connect. For older data, use CSV Import.
